I have been contemplating how to share this story for a couple of days now. I so badly want to convey all the emotions and feelings that came along with Halloween. I don't know if I will be able to aptly express how special Halloween night was for our family. Some of you may know that this was Keyan's first Halloween that she was able to go out with the family. The first year she was sick and had to stay home with Grammie and Poppy and last year she was in the hospital struggling to breath thru pneumonia. Many of you have been praying for her continued health along with us. If only you could have seen her dancing in her fairy costume, twirling around and around, laughing despite the cold and rain. I had a hard time talking most of the evening because every time I looked at her I got choked up. The rain began to come down pretty hard so we made the call to go to the car. After we got all the girls buckled in their seats and they happily started eating some of their loot, I got back out of the van. "Ah, we made it thru the chaos, the girls are giggling, and we are all here together!", were my thoughts. I turned around though to see a beautiful double rainbow in the sky. As I tried to capture the sight on my camera I was crying! I knew that rainbow was for Keyan! God has brought her thru so much in her young life and he was saying, "Look, youv'e made it! It hasn't always been easy, but you perservered. " It was like God was saying, "I promise to remain beside you and get you thru even your toughest times." We lean on Gods' promises daily in raising this precious family, and we have seen time and time again how He heals, provides, keeps us safe, is faithful, and has a greater plan! That rainbow was an affirmation that He continues to walk beside us blessing us every minute of every day.

Stephanie & Paul,
Everytime I look at that beautiful face, I feel so blessed to have been a part of Keyan's life. She has touched my heart in a way that no other could. She is truly an angel from heaven and a lesson for all of us. Be confident that she (as you all are) is in my prayers daily. Thank you for allowing me and my family to be a part of yours.
