Please pray

When I started this blog, I was not intending to use it for the purpose of asking for prayers but I guess that plan is going out the window. This has been a very difficult week for the kids because they are all sick. McKenzy was diagnosed with pneumonia last Friday. After a three day course of injectable antibiotics she is on the mend. It is slow, but we are seeing glimpses of our 'Kenzy. Saturday night I took Sidney to the ER where they found she has RSV. There is not much they can do except treat the syptoms but for a premature baby this virus takes its toll. She has great moments and than a lot of momemts where she is very tired, coughing, and just doesn't feel well. Jamahl and Abby have the cough as well but they are pulling thru without a trip to the doctor. Keyan is another story. She was admitted to the hospital Monday with RSV. Her frail lungs were 3/4 of the way full with fluid. She is a very sick little girl. We have brought her home because her nurses here are very intuned to her and there is no place like home when you don't feel well. However, we are not sure we will be able to keep her home. We take it by the minute knowing our limits as well as the hospitals. She is not out of the woods. Her lungs are full of junk and it is a effort for her to breath. Please pray that God will heal her little body. Paul and I thought that the scary nights of not knowing if Keyan would make it thru the night were behind us but here we are living them again. We know our God can get her thru this. We are also praying that she does not have long term effects from this virus. Again, all I can ask is that you keep her in your prayers. Ask God to give her easy breathing and take the pain away. Pray for her sisters and Jamahl. They kow that she is sick and they do not like it!!! I know that God is bigger than our fears and I am holding on to that. Will you pray for Keyan?
