Grammie started the day off right by serving chocolate doughnuts in bed. Of course it was MOMMY'S bed!! Needless to say the sheets had to be washed when they were done. McKenzy actually is not real sure of doughnuts, she prefers green beans! Her sisters on the other hand were very happy to help celebrate her coming home day.
Jamahl joined in the celebration, except he thought it was to crowded in Mommy's bed so he went done to Grammie's. Jamahl could not wait to give McKenzy her surprise...
It was a very busy day but before snack time we finally had time to give McKenzy her special gift. She got her very own doll. She was soooo excited. When Paul took it to get the doll out of the package she, in typical McKenzy fashion, walked to the end of the hall and balled. When we realized this is what she was doing,(she is a very quiet cryer, unlike Abby) we quickly brought her into the kitchen so that she could see what Daddy was doing.
"A doll of my very own!!! McKenzy was thrilled with her new baby. Her sisters were all waiting to get theirs but they have to wait until later in the month. I think it is a hard concept to grasp! We love you McKenzy!!!
