A beautiful fall day

It was such a beautiful day that we all walked over to "our" park next door. The kids have all made great improvments in their playground abilities and it was so fun to watch them play together. McKenzy tends to slide a lot and wander around the park. She is also fond of taking Keyan by the hand and leading her all around. She loves to laugh at the leaves, the wind, and any thing else that tickles her funny bone. We may not know what is so funny....but her laugh is sooo contagious!

Sidney does a lot of running and climbing at the playground. She is our quieter girl and doesn't mind hanging out by herself. She is not really fond of the slides unless she is walking up them! She has a tendency to do the entire playground backwards! She sees life thru very happy eyes and most of the time has a great outlook on her life.

Keyan has made the most improvments this summer when it comes to the playground. Weh spring was upon on she spent her time just trying to walk thru the wood chips and navigate her way from the grass to the sidewalk. Now a days, she is climbing to the top of the play structure and sliding down! She is such a trooper who inspires us beyond belief every time we look at her.

Abagayle Grace is our monkey. She is constantly swinging from something or climbing on top of things. She likes to balance on everything and we are constantly lunging towards her to "save" her. She keeps us abreast of what all the other kids are doing and never misses a chance to let us know when someone is up to no good. She likes to giggle at Jamahl. You need to keep an ear turned her way because there is always something funny coming out of her mouth. Her favorite thing to say right now is, "That is NOT fair!" Oh what we have to look forward to!

Jamahl continues to shock us with his abilities outside. He is doing everything by himself including the monkey bars and pumping the swing. He was determined to swing high enough to touch the tree branches. After more than 30 minutes, he finally decided that he needed to be a little taller. However, he has already outgrown his new school clothes because he keeps getting taller, so Mommy says he needs to stop growing!!! He apparently is going to take after daddy! Jamahl is always surprising us with his wisdom and most recently his ability to read. He keeps us laughing and mommy crying every now and again over how fast they grow up.
